An annual family tradition
We invite you to cook dinner with us at the Ronald McDonald House (211 E. Grand Ave, Chicago, IL, 60611) on Wednesday, April 4 from 4:00pm-7:30pm.
No cooking expertise is needed. If you can mix, chop or wash, that’s plenty of help! Each home-cooked meal helps nourish families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their child is receiving medical services for an illness or injury.
If you aren’t able to make it but would like to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, we will match every donation dollar for dollar.
- Meal Prep begins at 4:00pm
- Dinner is served at 6:30pm
- Clean up ends at 7:30
Space is limited- please RSVP here or let us know the amount of your donation. Every dollar counts!
When a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.
Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to divide a family. A Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.
Families are stronger when they are together, which helps in the healing process. By staying at a Ronald McDonald House, parents also can better communicate with their child’s medical team and keep up with complicated treatment plans when needed.
